For Valentines Day, I treated my wife to an Afternoon Chai Tea and cocktails. From the welcome, the ambience, the chefs, the quality of the food to the service, all were excellent. Certainly recommend you try Prahnas.. You will not be disappointed.
10/10 from the booking process to the moment we left. Such a warm welcome from the wonderful bartender and great food suggestions from the waiter. If you enjoy delicious, aromatic seafood, you’ll love Prahna! Dishes were bursting with prawns, mussels, salmon - really good food cooked to perfection. Have been recommending to friends and family and would definitely return in a heartbeat.
Lovely aesthetics inside, gave a very instagrammable vibe! Staff are nice and friendly, we went with friends for breakfast and was not disappointed! Great to have another halal breakfast option in Edinburgh. Just to note, breakfast is only severed on Fridays and weekends and stops at 11am. I went for the Prahna full breakfast- would highly recommend it! Would be keen to come back to try either the lunch or evening menu options. Whilst there is parking on the main road outside, it’s restricted to 30mins. We decided to park in a nearby side street just to be on the safe side.
Everything about this restaurant is impeccable. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is amazing, the cocktails are morish... The ambience, you can tell they put a lot of work towards it for every occasion from every review I have seen. 10/10 - been there twice and will keep visiting. Thank you

Yet, Arun’s expert guidance, creative ideas, and a wide range of delicious menu options ensured that every palate was perfectly satisfied. Service was really good. The food was excellent but not to my liking as I am more of a traditionalist. Very little flavour in the Rogan Josh.
Just back from Valentine's night dinner here and my word this place is amazing. The atmosphere you can feel before you even entered. The decoration is stunning, the love harpist was so talented. The service and the food was top tier. Best Indian food I have ever had and the sorbet was also the tastiest . The rose at the end was a lovely touch! We will definitely be back! It was an incredibly busy night but the team did amazing.
Hands down the best Indian restaurant I've been to. Visited a few times with work colleagues and everything was just spot on. Friendly service, amazing food (think Indian cousine done fine-dining way, but without being pretentious) and a great atmosphere. When it's full and buzzing on a Tue night, you know it's a special place.
